Recent news has it that in Delta state of Nigeria, a tragic incident happened where by parents of a 9 month old baby locked her up in their burning house and left her to roast.

The girls mother was said to have gone to the market to earn a living by plaiting people's hairs at Sapele Yam garage while the father was also at work.

The incident occurred at about 7 pm on Wednesday. The whole building was brought to ruins as neighbors could not put out the fires while men of the Fire Department of Sapele arrived late.

It was reported that the grandfather of the infant who was alerted of the fire was later involved in salvaging other parts of the building without knowing his grandchild had been consumed by the fire.

Sad these incidents happen. This goes out to every parent out there, please take proper care of your children. Life is a risk
