It's back to glory days for Blackface as he gradually been brought back to relevance in the Nigerian Music Industry.  Blackface must be the happiest man on earth at the moment. The ex-Plantashun Boiz member has signed a N52 million deal which also includes a car and a house with Franchise Events Limited, thereby making him the record label’s biggest name.

Prior to this mega deal, things have not been well with the artiste and this has prompted him to go to war with 2face Idibia, another member of the Plantshun Boiz over not being paid the royalty of “African Queen” claiming that he and not 2face wrote the song. In addition to, last week 2face Idibia claimed to have invited Blackface to his wedding at Dubai, Blackface quickly took to twitter to deny that statement and he also used that avenue to ask for royalties from "African Queen"

While speaking, the spokesperson for Franchise Events Limited said they opted for Blackface because of his versatility and his longevity in the music industry as well as being suited by his brand of music.
