He is one of Nigeria's major pioneers of contemporary music. Baba Dee as he is popularly known, his career dates over decade. He hit the limelight and super stardom in 1995 when he won Nigeria's biggest talent hunt show in lekki (Sun Splash). Since then, he has recorded best selling albums like Most Wanted, Unfinished Business, Sodi e, Governor's Daughter, Versatile and Veteran.

Baba Dee Holds a Diploma in Acting and a Bachelor's Degree in Directing from the University of Ibadan and a Masters Degree in Fiction Film Directing from the Salford University, Manchester. He has bagged up many awards in his name such as the Fame Music Award, AMEN Music Award, Hip-Hop Music Awards (Headies), Channel O Music Awards among others.
